Do you want to communicate with ROAR? This innovative, new approach to communication training focuses on the four key concepts that make communication effective, whether that’s with colleagues, subordinates, managers/executive or clients and customers.

R.O.A.R has been developed to emphasise the basics of effective communication:

• Building rapport
• Asking the right questions (open questions)
• Active listening (and why it’s so important)
• Respect in communication, including professional empathy and its value

These concepts underpin communication across multiple genres and situations. The ideas and concepts taught in this course are used widely in crisis communication, corporate negotiations, police/hostage negotiation, having difficult conversations, mediation techniques, effective conflict resolution, team building and respective communication (work or personal).

Participants will learn about the four concepts and the many areas that contribute to being able to be a better communicator. Real life and practical information give participants immediate strategies to improve their communication, along with being able to practice what they learn.
Communicating with ROAR will give participants a simple blueprint to be able to apply to everyday communications, and also those that involve crisis, aggression, or more extraordinary situations.
