Performance and Conduct Management
This course is designed for anyone who manages or supervises staff, or are responsible for leading staff. This program will introduce strategies on how to better manage people’s performance on a day-to-day basis including things like:
- Inductions and onboarding
- Performance management
- Key performance indicators and how employee reach them
- The value in outlining and communicating performance expectations
- The value of positive performance management
This course will allow participants to outline organisational expectations and effectively communicate them to staff. It will introduce frameworks and templates that can be immediately utilised to make this a formal and/or informal process.
Importantly, participants learn the value of effective documentation, setting goals and objectives, documenting specific expectations and the importance of communicating these in the context of performance.

Conduct and behaviour management is often not addressed effectively within organisations (and is overlooked) but has a significant part to play in the overall leadership process. It’s no good having good performance and not addressing toxic, undermining, disruptive, bulling or unethical behaviour.
Effective conduct management addresses the Elephant in the room.
The course is underpinned by employee engagement, culture and psychosocial considerations. Participants also learn the elements of effective communication, including elements of our signature program Communicate with R.O.A.R.
